You must be at least 21 years old when you book your accommodation
The number of persons occupying the house must not exceed the number for which the accommodation has been reserved.
A deposit of 25 % of the booking price is payable at the time of booking
The Customer is obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition.
The Customer is responsible for any damage done or loss during their stay.
Smoking in the house is strictly prohibited.
The Customer must not use Penglyn for any purpose other than that of a holiday. Functions, celebrations, ceremonies and parties are not permitted without the written permission of the Owners
The rental period shall commence at 3.00 pm on the first day and finish at 10.00 am on the last day.
Prices quoted are correct at the time of printing. The Owner reserves the right to correct errors in advertised prices.
Under no circumstances shall the Owner's liability to the Customer exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.
A maximum of two well behaved dogs are allowed at Penglyn .The Customer must try and keep dogs off furniture and under proper control at all times. The fenced garden should be checked to ensure it is suitable to let the pets run loose.
The Customer booking will only be confirmed on receipt of a deposit. If no deposit is received within one week of the booking the Owner has the right to cancel the booking without notification. If the Customer cancels the booking at any time the confirmation deposit is non-refundable.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must contact the Owners as soon as possible in writing. The booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. However we will make every effort to re-let the property once formal cancellation has been received and if we are able to re-let at the same price the balance will be refunded to you. If we are only able to re-let at a reduced price (with your approval) the reduced balance will be refunded. If we are unable to re-let, the full balance will remain payable by you. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you to take out guest cancellation insurance against cancellation due to ill-health, bereavement, etc as the above refund terms are non-negotiable
Please advise the Owners immediately of any shortcomings in the house. The owners cannot accept subsequent claims for shortcomings not so notified. The Customer must notify the owner immediately of any damage or defects detected during their stay. Failure to do so may result in the customer being made liable for any damages or defects. Customers may be billed for any damaged or missing items..
We cannot guarantee the security of your vehicles or personal possessions. We cannot be held liable for loss or damage thereto, from any cause whatsoever.
The Owner shall not be liable to the Customer:
- for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services
to the Property, nor in the respect of any equipment, plant, machinery
or appliances in the Property or garden,
- for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather
conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters, beyond the control
of the Owner, or
- for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the
Customer if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged
before the start of the rental period and in any such event the Owner
shall, within seven days of notification to the Customer, refund to
the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
The full balance is due 8 weeks before the holiday start date and if not paid, the Owners reserve the right to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited in full. Cheques will only be accepted if presented at least two weeks prior to the holiday start date.
The owner accepts no liability for the safety of occupants. Occupants of the holiday home are fully responsible for their own safety and that of any dependants. The owner cannot accept any liability for accidents that may occur.
The use of tents or sleeping in motor vehicles adjacent to Penglyn is not permitted.
The Owners reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition
The Customer shall be responsible for the refuge bin to be placed at the kerbside on a Thursday morning and return the bin after the waste has been collected on theThursday.
Linen and towels will be provided for the amount of guests noted at bookng.
The Owner or service person shall be allowed access to Penglyn at any reasonable time during your stay only if necessary.
Items left behind are kept for four weeks, after which they are disposed of at the owner's discretion. There is a minimum post and packing charge of £10 for items returned.
The Customer must ensure that Penglyn is left in a clean and tidy condition on your departure at the end of your holiday.
The property has a log burner which is used entirely at the risk of the customer.
No claims will be accepted for any misuse of any of the appliances or associated items available within the house
The Owners have left minimum signage on the house as it is a "holiday
home", this does not defer from any neglect of safety and no claims
can be accepted for lack of relevant signs.
The Owners reserves the right to refuse or terminate any booking.
These terms and conditions are for the purposes of a holiday rental only and does not create the relationship of Landlord and Tenant between the Customer and the Owners
All personal data provided to the Owners will be held and processed
in accordance with the requirements of the 1998 Data Protection Act.
The Owners will keep your personal data safe and secure. It will not
be shared with other organisations without your knowledge and consent,
unless required by law to do so.
The Owner gives all information and makes all statements in good faith and checks so far as is reasonable all the information given to applicants. The Owner shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from information given, or statements made whether orally, or in writing.
